For more than 40 years
HELPE Upstream and its people have been the driving force behind oil exploration in our country. The company (1975-1986 DEP, 1986-1998 DEP-EKY, 1998 ELPE) grows, invests, develops continuously by developing strategies tailored to the business environment.
However, the key and unalterable factor is always "her people", because without diligence and personal stamp research there is no exploration. All these years, we at HELPE Upstream strive and work together in faith in our vision of finding oil and/or gas and creating value for both the country and the local communities.
In the past, our research had confirmed the existence of an oil system in the country. In recent years, by incorporating the data we already had with the latest marine seismic data, we are creating new geological models and, consequently, new business opportunities.
HELPE Upstream, with clear business criteria, lays the groundwork for hydrocarbon exploration in the country, attracting the world's largest oil companies as partners and continues to be the national leader in hydrocarbon exploration and production.
